Pioneer Park Christmas Lights

Every year Pioneer Park puts up numerous Christmas lights around the park.  They are always gorgeous and I never get tired of looking at them.  I took a few pictures that I'd like to share with you.  These pictures don't do the lights justice, and I didn't take too many photos, I was too busy looking at the beautiful buildings!  Enjoy and Happy New Year!

These are new Northern Lights bulbs, very cool!
This church is so elegant and gorgeous!

One of my favorites. Probably because there are so many lights-ha!

Concealer from Ebay

Today I have a new to me concealer palette that I purchased from Ebay.  Originally I thought they sent the wrong product when this showed up:
Naked 3??

Last time I checked, Urban Decay Naked3 looks nothing like what's inside the box!  I had to giggle at the packaging.  But, what's inside is what really counts.  Here are some more pictures of the palette:

I paid under $6 for this, so I didn't have the highest hopes.  I first tried these concealers with my finger.  These are pretty creamy, so I made sure to set with a powder.  It seemed to be cakey at first.  Then, I applied these with a synthetic brush, and that's where the magic happened (I used the brush from the UD Naked 2 palette).  I have only tried three of these colors (the lightest and the green).  I used the green on a very red mark on my hand then added concealer on top and it covered all of the redness! Here are some swatches.  Swatching concealer is very difficult!

I am looking forward to continuing using this palette and I recommend it!  Have you ever used a palette like this one?

MDJ Creations Lumina and Sistine Chapel

MDJ Creations Sistine Chapel was the polish that drew me to the brand.  It is such a gorgeous glitter, and it looks good over different polishes.  Here I paired it with MDJ Creations Lumina.  Lumina is gorgeous on its own, but it is absolutely stunning with this glitter!  I used Dream Polish Smooth Gem Base Coat and Gem Glam Top Coat for these pictures.

These colors are so gorgeous together and super sparkly!

MDJ Creations can be purchased here.
Dream Polish can be purchased here.

Thanks for stopping by today!

MDJ Creations and Ethereal Lacquer

I've been on a bit of a holo streak lately.  When I saw Kristin's swatch of different polishes by MDJ Creations, I knew I had to get a few.  One I purchased is Carpe Noctem which is described as "a multi chromatic holographic polish with a gorgeous color gradient shifting from TEAL to GREEN to PINK to PURPLE & loaded w/intense holographic effect." For all of these pictures I used Dream Polish Smooth Gem Base Coat and Gem Glam Top Coat.

Of course I couldn't leave it alone.  I had to add Ethereal Lacquer Spotted Snow on top!

Ethereal Lacquer Absinthe-Pic Heavy

Ethereal Lacquer Absinthe has been a long time lemming.  I would stalk their website for restocks with no success.  Then, one of my friends on Instagram @whimsicalicious mentioned they were having a restock recently, and luckily for me they restocked Absinthe.  I was high on life once I was able to order this polish!  Here are several photos of different angles of this beauty.  I used two coats of Absinthe over Cult Nails Blackout

Here you can see the blue shift starting to appear.  I was pleasantly surprised by this!
More blue.  Super gorgeous!

I'm so thankful this polish is even more awesome than I expected it to be!  I ordered two more polishes, but haven't worn them as a proper manicure.  I also used Dream Polish's Smooth Gem Basecoat (in Pink Sugar!) and Gem Glam top coat for that beautiful shine.

What are some of your all time lemmings?

My Current Ink Stash

Here are the inks that I currently own:

Authentic Models Turquoise

Aladine Inks for Painting.

I must admit that I haven't used any of these in several months, and I must change that soon!  Next I'll show you my very small collection of dip pens.  Do you use a dip pen and ink?

Random Nail Art

I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to post first on my blog, so I decided to share some nail art I have posted on Instagram.

My favorite of this bunch is the first picture.  It's such a simple yet interesting design.

You can find me on Instagram at @juliana907.  Which are your favorite nails?  Thanks for reading!
